The web extension is tailored for continuous content verification as users browse the internet. As it encounters images, audio, and videos on web pages, the extension automatically scans each for Mentaport certificates or C2PA metadata. If a certificate is found, an icon is discreetly overlaid in the bottom right corner of the content. This icon functions as a button that users can interact with to view detailed information about the content’s authenticity. If no certificate is found, the extension remains invisible, ensuring a non-intrusive user experience.
