Each certificate captures specific details about the content being certified, enhancing transparency and authenticity.

Recorded Information​

  • Timestamp: The exact time the certificate was created.
  • Owner: The wallet address of the creator. If the creator lacks a wallet, we generate one using their email through account abstraction (additional information below).
  • Name/Title: The name/title of the certified content.
  • Description of Work: An optional section for additional details about the content.
  • Username / Pseudonym: The creator’s public name or chosen pseudonym.
  • AI Training/ Mining Info: Addresses consent related to AI training, mining and scraping (additional information below).
  • AI Disclosure: Indicates whether AI was used in the creation of the content.
  • Metadata: Linked to C2PA metadata for integrity and authenticity.

Ownership:​

Mentaport embraces decentralization as the cornerstone of content authenticity. Our certificates, stored as soul-bound tokens on the blockchain, ensure security, reliability, and transparency. Recognizing that some users may be new to blockchain technology or lack a digital wallet, we utilize account abstraction to ensure they maintain control over their certificates.

AI Training/ Mining Info:​

We empower creators to dictate terms regarding the use of their content. This includes options for designating content as "fair use" or opting for protection against scraping and unauthorized AI training. Upon certificate completion, we undertake necessary actions to enforce these preferences against AI entities that permit opt-outs from their training datasets.
